Am I the only one wondering how Missile of Patience is so Powerful?

OK - it takes a few moments to deploy, and you have to click a lot of times, but it deals a boatload of damage and can kill most creatures. It's probably my most used spell, everything else does far less damage, except for the really high level spells which you don't have very many of.

Fire and Ice doesn't always do a lot of damage, cone of cold sucks. The only spells I have right now that are up there with Missile of patience are Lightning storm and Storm of blades.

    What do other people think?

    Hi Welcome,

This is a pretty, anarchismatic( i think i just invented a word-patented) website. You've come to the right place.

So, I'm going to answer your question with this question:
    1. What version and platform are you playing on. If you are using any of the great unofficial patches, then say so. Glad you like this experience.

I think Missile of Patience is kind of an easter egg. It's got all those question marks in the spell info and the spell description is just a story of a mage finding the spell useless, and in the beginning it is pretty useless. However, if the player is still willing to give it a shot when they reach higher levels - in other words, if they are patient - they'll find the spell has become extremely powerful.
