Planar Question

    I've completed the Planar Quest and while I was on the Hellish plain obtaining the Demon heart to power the Sphere I decided to clean up a little and I know posses 2 extra hearts.
    I can't semm to find any other use for these nor can I sell them.
    Has anyone else done this and if so what did you do with the extra hearts?

    [​IMG] Yup, there is no other use for them in the game. I lugged two extra ones in my backpack for ages, but there isn't even a single store anywhere that'd buy em for 5gp, let alone make any other use for them.
    Pretty stupid design flaw; they could make a special subquest with a powerful mage somewhere that could use the heart to make you a special item or something like that, considering the power an artifact like that posesses.

    The way it is now, it's only regarded as a quest item and nothing more. So like any keys in the game, you can't sell it either. Bleh. A miss if I ever saw one.

    Yep, I´d like to sell all the used keys or the deamon hearts too (could be a cool item to create a magical weapon made by Cromwell).
    It´s a shame that you can never make any profit with useless quest items.

    Instead of using Bohdi's heart to help bring back a fallen loved one who was turned into a vampire, use a demon heart.

    You can only do this if you're main character is evil. The returned loved one will come back as a demonic guardian. You lose 8 rep points if you do.

    Using Aerie as an example, when she is brought back to life using one of the demon hearts instead, she grows back some seriously deadly leather wings. Although they cannot be used, the comments she makes in her new evil voice about gaining her wings back is priceless.

    [​IMG] Other than doing what Syl said, all I can say is store them in a stash somewhere. I stuck them in either my chest in the Radiant Heart when I played as a Cavalier or in whatever stronghold you get.

    I have so much junk left over from previous quests it was driving me nuts. But now I just take it all back to my stronghold and display it there. They are all kind of reminders of the quests I have done, and from a role playing perspective that is kind of fun. I would think that a real character would do that, and it makes sense.

    And I know that there are no alternate voices for Aerie, so it must be Syl's alternate BG2 dimension happening again.
