[IMG] I'm soloing a F/M/T and I'm already getting very close to the XP cap in chapter 2. Should I get the XP patch? Does this patch mess anything up if I get ToB? Since maybe there are more abilities that you get in Tob at higher levels, and I might not get them if I have the XP patch. If I don't get the patch, does the XP stay with me until ToB so I can level up a whole lot then, or do I just lose all of it?

I wouldn't, it would screw up parts of the game, and playing would no longer be a challenge. I'm sure your F/M/T will manage.

I wouldn't, because when you get up the levels, you wont get the special abilities that you would get with ToB. Also, any experience over the cap in SoA is stored and will be returned to you when you install ToB.

[IMG] Once you start down the XP cap remover path, forever will it dominate your destiny...consume you it will! :p

As advised, don't do it. You are doing great as it is.

I wouldn't install an x-cap remover too :) The game is well managable within the SoA x-cap :)

But I saw on this web site a patch that said it was for SoA and ToB and had special level abilities up to level 50. Didn't come with a readme though. Does it go up to level 50 or only from 40-50?

    Big B: Yep. You're ab-so-tively right.

The Xpcap remover has consumed me. Along with the Killsword. And the Fighter1 script.

On a little side note, the level 50 rulez have also consumed me; and The Keeper; and that Conan phrase "Crush your enemies, see them driven before you, hear the lamentation of the women." line...

(Sorry for the ToB stuff) but it's a much better idea to install ToB for the 8 million XP cap, plus you get the special abilities for high-level characters, and it doesn't mess up the game. =/
