[IMG] Before anyone tells me to search past posts, I have and they were quite useful, although they did not answer my questions. Does anyone know where I can find a complete 'walkthrough' if you will to completing the romances, particularly Jaheiras. I dont mean just particular events like the Harpers quest etc. I mean a complete guide on how to totally complete the romance, (chapter limits etc). This is my second (and a half) time through and I wish to complete the romance in order to continue through ToB. HELP

Also: Can someone tell me how high you can put str, dex, con etc on non warriors before bonuses no longer increase? Eg. Wizards wizdom bonuses apl 16+ only, no diff at 18. :)

Unfortunately I don't know of any guide for the romances that tells you exactley what to do at every stage complete with time limits and triggers etc. The best info I know of has been compiled in an earlier post on these boards. I know you have looked but just in case you missed this one, I'll post the link. It doesn't really start to discuss the detail until the third entry of the post (as the post was really about another topic). Anyway hope there is something that helps there.

As to the stat bonuses, I'm sure these are all in the manual at the back. Even if you've mislaid this, there should be a PDF version on your BG2 disk number 1. This is likely to be more accurate than my from memory and quick look at the tables details:

Most stats give you a bonus as they increase, these are summarised below. Often though, you need to go up by a couple of levels to see the next increase. e.g. the ac bonus goes from -3 to -4 when dex increases from 17 to 18 but it does not increase to -5 until dex reaches 21.

Strength - always gives a bonus to weight allowanc, plus damage from 16 upwards (though sometimes you need to go up by two) and THACO from 17 (thoug sometimes you need to go up by two)
Dexterity - improved AC from 15 (though you need to go up by 2 or 3 once you get to about 18), improved THACo for missle weapons from 16 (though usually need to go up by a couple each time)
Constitution - increase the number of HP you gain when levelling up from 15 (though usually need to go up by a couple each time). However, non fighters gain non additional benefit from this beyond 16. It also increase the chances of being succesfully resurrected (apperently?) and can allow regeneration at increasing speeds beyond 19 or 20 (not sure exactley). Also increases resistance to poison I think.
Inteligence - allows mages to learn spells of increasingly higher levels and also affect the total number of spells that can be learned from each level. These both increase beyond 9 but reaches the maximum at 18 (19 for number of spells). Also improves the chances of learning a new spell beyond 9 but this reaches 100% at 24. Also increase the lore bouns.
Wisdom - Improves saving throws against magic from 15-18. Increases the chance of spell failure below 12. Provides a lore bonus from 15 upwards.

    Phew!

    Opps forget the link:

[IMG] A slightly different point on the Jaheira romance...She is starting to show feeling towards the main character but so is Aerie and they are starting to argue amongst themselves... possible jealousy. Can it get so bad that either one or the other leaves the party. Odes the main character have to choose between the two or can he string both along...!

They are getting jealous and arguing as a result. I haven't heard of any case where this leads to any of the women leaving the party. However, you will eventually have to choose between them and this bit can be a bit tricky. I suggest saving regularly if you want to keep one over the other and not blow it when you are asked to choose (sometimes it is not even obvious that you are being asked to chose!). If you want it easy though, there is a patch that lets you continue all the romances (I think you need to install before choosing though).

The NPC Romances Hack can be found here:

[IMG] Thanks for the reply guys, you sure are fast!
The links did seem to help me quite a bit. Ill try it out and if I have any more problems, Ill know where to come to. One question though. Who has completed all three romances and which did they like the most and why? (No spoilers!)
    Peace ;)

I haven't actually finished all three women (there's also Amoen but didn't fancy exploring my feminine side). From what I know though I'd say:

Viconia is the most 'adult' romance
Aerie is the most interesting (if you have the right party combination but you didn't want spoilers)
Jaheira is the most difficult but probably the most believable when you take into account the history, the slow pace and the way it develops.

The first two are also almost too easy (as long as you have a compatible race).

    God I'm a sad git aren't I :)

I have tried vic and aerie romance, and I'm trying the Jaheira in my current run.

I think the viconia romance was rather cool, though she talks aloooooot =)
had a few surprises, I love it
