Need some advice on a sorcerer build

Hello, I'm quite new to this game and have just started a single player HotU game as a lawful good Sorcerer (15), focused primarily at offensive spell-casting. I would ask for some help regarding the following things:
    1. Should I take only 1 Paladin level or would 3 be better? Also is a single level of monk worth considering?
    2. How important is caster level? As far as I know, it affects dispelling, SR checks, and duration of buffs. DC of spells is affected only by ability score modifiers and feats like spell focus, right? So, should I make a high level sorcerer or is level 20 just enough?
    3. Suppose if I play as a non good character, in that case, after attaining 20 levels of sorcerer, do I get additional number of spells per day by taking pale master levels?
    4. What epic feats should I take? Which epic spells are worth taking, or should I avoid them rather, since they can be used only once per day?
    5. Lastly, I'd wish for some advice on the 3 level 9 spells. At the moment, I'm planning to take Time Stop and Mordenkainen's Disjunction for sure. For the third spell, should I take Wail of the Banshee or Black Blade of Disaster?

I'll be looking forward for answers. Thanks in advance.

You should be able to shift your alignment in-game towards evil by being evil. So if you want to go the PM route, by all means do so.
However, the pale master levels work on the same tables as the sorcerer, only at 1/2 progression.
One level of paladin is usually enough, you don't want to waste spell progression.

And what about caster level? How important is that? Since after level 20, I won't be getting any additional number of spells per day.

I need to review the docs, but I could have sworn you continued to get additional spells per day and fill up your higher level spell slots.

Maybe I'm confusing it with Baldur's Gate II and Icewind Dale II.

I believe that doesn't happen. The wiki shows that sorcerers above level 20 get some epic spells which are used as innate abilities and that too only once per day. But there's no spells per day progression tables above level 20. Whatever additional spells one gets are only due to ability score increases (in this case, charisma).
By the way, thanks for your suggestions earlier!

I don't think I've played a sorcerer in many years. Then again, I haven't played the game all the way through in at least 3 years. My memory is getting fuzzy. Sorry I confused it with the Infinity Engine games.
In the last couple years, I've picked up a bunch of old games at the local library "book sales" that I missed. Usually I strike out at those sales, but every now and then you find a diamond in the rough for $2. Sometimes only $1.
I'm still playing what I got from the sales in October.

"Book sales", eh? Does that mean you're playing pen & paper, or are those computer games? (In our part of the world, they never sell video games in any library...:D)
I remember having played part of Exile II about 5 years ago. I still have it on my PC, but don't get time to play it, since these days I'm playing more of games like BG2, NWN, and the like.

I believe that the Exile series was released as freeware by Spiderweb Software after they remade the games. The links are on the company website last I checked. Here is Exile II.
The hard to find one is Nethergate, which used to be offered for free before they released the remake.

On the subject of book sales, Des Plaines is having their sale next weekend
    https://dppl.org/support-the-library/book-sales
The above does a pretty good job describing the book sales. I know that Arlington Heights, Rolling Meadows, Mt. Prospect, Palatine, and Schaumburg have them and it is more or less the same at all of them. I also know that a bunch more libraries in the Chicago suburbs have similar sales, somebody who lives in Northlake who was not very computer literate asked me if there were similar ones at the libraries near her and I found several at the surrounding towns by checking the websites. I don't recall which ones.

Usually they are run by an associated "Friends of the Library" not-for-profit organization that does volunteer work at the local library.

tl;dr? The "book sales" also sell vinyl records, CDs, VHS tapes, DVDs, and usually a small selection of used computer software. Some also accept donations and sell jigsaw puzzles and board games.
The prices are dirt cheap, but you never know what you'll find there. The money goes to the library that spends it on new materials that you can borrow for free.
I try to visit the sales for all the libraries within 5 miles of me (I'm really lucky that all the ones I named are within 5 miles of me in different directions. Except Schaumburg, it is 5.6 miles).
