Solaufein chat issues

    okay I talked to Solaufein and went to rescue phaere. I meet Solaufein outside the mind flayer city and talked to him then went inside and beat all the mind flayers. then i came out and all he has to say to me is... i've no time for idle chat or something like that. I found out after that he summons phaere and her kidnappers. How can I fix this ?

    You just meet up with Sola and wait for him to summon Phaere and the flayers. Fight the flayers and keep Phaere from dying. If you ran out of time (which is easy to do), do you have a save game from before you beat up the flayers?

    Going into the flayers' lair is sorta optional, depending on how you want to play a decision later in the Ust Natha.

    How long do you have to wait ? No I don't have a savegame from before the flayers... :(

    About a minute in real time. It's enough for you to buff your party with spells and set traps. :evil: I would've said to reload, but without a save...autosave won't work either (it got overwritten when you entered Mind Flayer city).

    Okay. Have you gone back to Ust Natha? Can you go inside the city? Are the drow hostile to you? If the drow aren't attacking you, you probably still have time to save Phaere. Just go back to where Sola is and wait. If the drow are hostile, you'll have to start over from a save beforehand.

    :cry: I'm sorry. I don't know a CLUA code. There are lots of people here who are more knowledgeable about this game than I am.

    EDIT: Had a quick thought and checked Dan Simpson's walkthrough about the time to rescue Phaere.

    If you took less than 3 days in the flayer lair, you still have time to do the rescue!

    *SPOILER ALERT*

    If you can't go inside Ust'Natha, I recall that you can just skip the entire Underdark section, and go to the surface via the exit in the shark thingies (Sahuagin?) dungeon. Don't hold me onto this, I always do the entire Underdark :p

    EDIT: Never mind the CreateCreature. Instead input:
    CLUAConsole:SetGlobal("SolNoTalk1","GLOBAL",0)
    Now try talking to him again. He should respond like he did the first time, and if you wait, the cutscene should proceed normally. Good luck! :thumb:

    meh i just ended up killing everyone in the underdark and taking the real eggs from the temple. for glory! hahaha

    ^Well it is a rather cool that you conquered all the underdark?

    Personally I always do MF city and Beholder Hive and KUo-Toa Dungeons BEFORE entering Ust-Natha masquaraded, this prevents any bugs and makes Ust-Natha smooth-sailing and easy...(as I have the blood required for the ritual as well)
