I can see how the absolute power of multiple mages is a power trip, but I prefer simpler battles. Like, cut-off-its-head-with-your-sword. Magic adds a lot of strategy, and I enjoy that with a solo or dual run, but not when the battles are already complicated with 6 characters running around. Just my thoughts, take 'em or leave 'em.

Maybe in this game it makes more sence to have a smaller arcane party, but in a game like IWD II it makes much more sence to have a magic heavy party and as you make the entire party yourself, micro managing, I BELIEVE, becomes easier :D

I agree Silvershield. My favorite party in IWD II was a group of 6 elvish sorcerers. For some reason I found that much simpler in the Dale than the Gate or Athkatla.
