[IMG] Yes, I know I suck, I never used this option.

But since I need this info and you know how much different creatures are there in the game to try this on, will you please be so kind and post what creatures you failed to backstab?

I mean immunity to backstab, not immunity to invisibility. Or to rephrase, what creatures you may sneak upon, but backstab fails?

I think Bhodi is, the main Shadow Thieves are, Most of the demons/demonic characters, and various others that wear certain armour

I think thats it, probably not a great help

Dragons and Beholders are the only two that come to mind off hand. (not sure about Gauths though, never tried to backstab one.) If I remember anymore I'll be sure and post them.

IIRC, Golems and Gauths are both immune to backstab. I believe undead are too.

Not all golems I don't think. I know I frequently got the 'cannot backstab' on Adamananamadnadaiditine (spelling?) golems but as far as I remember I backstabbed others. For instance I remember backstabbing the jailkeep golem right at the beginning (using spiritual hammer).

EDIT - Cheers Slim that was helpful

[IMG] Adamantite, FYI. Or is it Adamantium? I can't remember exactly.

To me it seems that nothing can be backstabbed. I try all the time but I never get a damage multipler. I uses Yoshimo at level 13, has short sword of backstabbing and armour of the deep night.

Ugh, I've backstabbed Bhodi when you get the mission from Aran to destroy her guild. Took a potion of invisibility in the battle and I had Arbane's Sword.

To be off topic, Adamantium is an alloy of Adamantite and I think the golems are Adamantium.

    Hello.

I'm certain that Beholders and Gauths and Golems can be backstabed. I remember clearly backstabbing these creatures. Beholders but not Elder Orbs or Mother Hives. I'm not sure about dragons but i could never backstab one of those. I believe that creatures that can always see you, don't matter if you are invisible or hiding in shadows, cna't be backstabed.

Oh, and the final battle of SoA was that? Was very easy. I hope the ToB final battle will be more challenging.

    Bye...

Beholder's and gaunts can't be backstabbed. You may have hit him while sneaking, but you don't get the backstab multiplier. Can't say about the other creatures, as I rarely, if ever, used backstabbing. (Beholders are an exception, I needed as many people as I could within hitting range before they blasted my characters to bits.)
