+1 for Solasta and BG3 EA for full 3D and verticality. Solasta is more true to table-top 5E, BG3 has Larian's house rules.

Pathfinder: Kingmaker if you like your traditional isometric IE-type nostalgia.

Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous is coming out soon too, and that looks really amazing tbh.

Pathfinder Kingmaker is the closest game you can get to an Infinity Engine such as Baldur's Gate and Icewind Dale.

While Pillars of Eternity was able to fully capture the aesthetic and atmosphere of most Infinity Engine Games. The same couldn't be said in terms of gameplay or the ruleset since its not a D&D game.

Pathfinder Kingmaker uses the a modified version of D&D 3.5 Edition, plus it has some classes exclusive only to the pathfinder universe. If you've played Temple Of Elemental Evil, Icewind Dale 2, Neverwinter Nights 1 & 2. You'll quickly be able to understand the ruleset which is kinda complicated...

Anyways try playing Pathfinder Kingmaker! best CRPG ever! better than BG3 lol. and also the Wrath of the Righteous when is available too!

Aside from that, try playing other games too such as:

    Blackguards
    Drakensang
Vampire: The Masquerade Redemption & Bloodlines
    Disco Elysium
    Wasteland 3
    Lionheart: Legacy of the Crusader
    Aarklash: Legacy
STAR WARS: Knights of the Old Republic

People who liked the original Bard's Tale Trilogy might enjoy "Dragon Wars". I know the IIGS version is abandonware and can be found on a website called "whatisthe2gs", formerly "Apple IIGS Gaming Memory Fairway".

Although the game is virtually the same vintage as Bard's Tale III, it was the next game put out by Interplay. It uses a classless system similar to the Exile or Avernum (Avernum is a remake of Exile) games.

Vampire Bloodlines is great. Finished it three times with different characters. Malkevian.
