Is it possible to change the portraits for the NPC's in BG1?

    [​IMG] I used shadowkeeper for bgII, but gatekeeper doesn't have the same set-up...any ideas?

    [​IMG] To permanantly change it I think you get the portrait and call it the same as the NPC potraits and put it in the override folder

    I feel like I'm missing something...I can't find the folder that has the portraits for the npc's...
    any ideas?

    look into file save.gam or something like (use wordpad) that in the save position directory (in the saves directory). find the names of npcs there (it would be like imoenL.bmp) rename the new portraits in this way (xxxL.bmp for large one, xxxS.bmp for the small one).
    Put new portraits in the override directory (in baldurs gate main directory)

    [​IMG] If like the portraits from BGII you can do this; (I have done it with Viconia only, not sure if it will work on anyone else.)

    Open shadowkeeper and go into the "change portrait"- option and extract the pic for Viconia.(or the NPC you want that is in BGI) You will need to extract both. Than move the extracted pics(they are in teh portrat-folder for BGII) to the portrait folder for BGI and VIOLA. The hot pic for Viconia instead of the ugly from BGI.
