    I recently watched a conspiracy theory about this killing flocks of birds and possibly making humans sick. The only reason I bring this up is because my bed is in direct line from the modem to my laptop. I've been spending lot's of time there due to my arthritis/psatica pain. I watch a lot of tv through the web and sometimes I feel sick and have to leave the room for awhile. I know I'm probably crazy and you're going to say it's the beer talking but it really makes me think I should hard line it. It will be a pain in the ass but I think it might be a good idea :beer:

    It's as with many other things, if you strongly believe it's causing you harm, it actually could. We have the ability to convince ourselves that something is harmful to us even when it isn't, either on a conscious or subconscious level. Realistically, it shouldn't be harmful to you. But if you believe a conspiracy theory, even on a subconscious level, your mind could be processing it as a danger and your body responding accordingly.

    In a situation such as that, your best bet is to take wireless/5G out of the equation if possible to eliminate doubt. Run a cable to your laptop instead so you don't need to have wireless on. For mobiles, just turn wireless off when you're resting if you're near the modem. Whether that's more of a nuisance to you than having it all on all the time or not is a different issue, of course...

    My decision has already been made. I'm expecting F to F connectors in the mail tomorrow because I have 5 of them but none are long enough to make the run from the 2 rooms. I'll keep the update going, fishing it through the wall will be the trickyist part :beer:

    While 5G is largely harmless (as I mentioned in chat), there is something to be said for having devices and cables around us 24/7. Being bombarded by electromagnetic fields all day every day isn't directly harmful, but it can affect things like your sleep cycle or general mood (even if just as a placebo effect).

    It is mainly for piece of mind. It just seems odd when I'm laying in bed and move or get up to go to the bathroom, the WIFI craps out for seconds or I have to completly reenter the site I'm watching :beer:
