[IMG] Can anyone answer these questions? Thanks in advance:

    1) What is the damage range (2-8 or whatever) for a werewolf's attack? (It doesn't seem to match the Monster Manual 1 attack/per round standard.) And a greater werewolf? I'd like to know exactly what Cernd is capable of before I decide to retain him over Korgan.
    2) Tasheron's Short Bow: While the bow is +3 to hit, are the invisible arrows it generates also considered +3 for purposes of what it can hit? Or are they treated as normal arrows (the damage they do seems to be simply 1-6, but I'm not sure) fired from a magic bow.
    3) Does DeTranion's Baalor Ale do anything other than take up space and confound me? I drink and drink but nothing happens. And I drink the ale, too, and nothing happens. :p
    4) I picked up Festule the Alchemist's Potion somewhere and don't know what to do with it. Any advice?
    5) Does Jaheira's lock of hair have any purpose after her curse is lifted?
    6) Do you need keys to reenter places (like Shadow Thief Guild) after you first go in? Or is it unlocked for you forever, key or not? And is there anything that explains where each key is used? Sometimes you pick up a key and don't know if you've used it.

    Thanks in advance...

    3) It's only for giving to those foolish kids in the the Umar Hills (IIRC).

    5) I put it away after the curse was gone and never needed it again.

    6) Once unlocked, I never ran across a door that locked again. After finishing a dungeon, I put away all the keys I had found, and never needed them again (except for 1 because the door was elsewhere :) ). Normally, the keys you find are used in the dungeon where you find them. I know of only one exception, and it gives you a hint in its description.

    4) It's a quest item if you have Mazzy in your party. Don't remember the exact details, but if you don't have her, it's useless for you.

I had my Chaotic Evil character command Minsc to kill Mazzy. Oh, how distraught he was! BWAHAHAHA!!

Oh, and also, the only thing I can suggest about figuring out Cernd's attack capabilities is to save the game, have Cernd shift and then attack someone, say, a commoner, and keep doing that for a while (turn off party AI first), and make a note of what damage he does. Get a general range, then reload to the save you made before you had Cernd go crazy.

    1)

Cernd is a very deadly NPC to have in your party if you can handle getting him to 13th level where his Greater Werewolf abilities come into play.

He recieves two attacks per round (although I do not know the damage of said attacks), cannot be hit by non-magical weapons (+1 or better to hit), has 50% magical resistance and 40% resistance to fire, cold and electricity.

With the boots of speed on his feet, he's a cutting machine.

    2)

They are normal arrows. It is the bow itself that is magical, thus helps in lowering your THAC0 to make the hit. The THAC0 bonus of the bow are not transfered to the arrows.

    3)

It's for a little quest in Umar Hills regarding three young lads who wish to become brave warriors and join the front lines of a party. Giving them the ale, they'll get drunk and do all kinds of silly things before learning they aren't brave and are better off using a bow instead of a sword.

    5)

Yes. Holding this in your inventory is also said to help with the romance, speeding it up. Added with the necklace you can purchase for her from the Docks District, you're on your way to becoming a man.

    6)

Once unlocked, it's unlocked for good.

    7)

    Please don't *bump*

I must vehemently protest against Syl's claims that bows are cowardly while I fill his half-orc hide full of cloth-yard shafts.
