    Vulpecula Equuleus, what's so special about Solaufein that would affect the Kangaxx battle? I never played with that mod...
    Is it that he can dimension door, or what?

    Canned Chaos, Sorry about that it's actually the tactics mod. With this mod sunray has no effect on Kangaxx's first form. When he reappeares as the Demi-Lich he no longer just casts imprisonment and Howl, he has alot of high level spells and can conjure Mordenkainen's swords. Don't remember if he regenerates without the mod, but he does with it. If BGII is getting old for you, you should try and download some of the BGII mods from weidu.org. Oh by the way try Firkraag with the tactics mod you can no longer just hack your way to Carsomyr and the red dragon scales.

    Oh, Tactics....
    Well, that makes more sense :D
    Yeah, I know all about Tactics, fun mod from the sound of it - I've been meaning to play it for quite a while.
    The vanilla, unmodded Kangaxx is a weenie. But then again, so is every other enemy in the game.

    (In case someone here didn't know, Solaufein is actually an NPC mod - adds a drow fighter/mage, with possible romance, a couple of quests etc... Never played it either ;) )

    Again I apologize for the confusion. I have downloaded so many mods I forget which one does what. It's my attempt to keep the game from getting boring, at least until BG III. You should try some of the mods. The Tactics mod has caused me alot of reloads.
