Now that I have keldorn (got him because I got the holy avenger :p ) How do you get someones AC high? I don't understand why my cleric has -7 right now, while my war only has -3. I understand that the armor helps to a certain degree...but is it a bunch of factors, including proficiencies and such? Or is there something els I'm missing.

Actually there are only 2 factors that determine AC - equipment and dexterity. First take a look at your armor - that will give you a base AC to start from. Other equipment (such as a shield, helm, cloak, ring, etc.) may lower that armor class further. After that factor the dexterity in. Your armor class goes down by 1 for every point of dexterity between 15-18. Thus:

    15 -1AC
    16 -2AC
    17 -3AC
    18 -4AC

Note that this extrapolation is not infinite. Dexterity 19 and 20 still only give a bonus of -4AC, while a dexterity of 21 will give a bonus of -5AC. Hope this helps.

Lower AC is better, by the way.
