18 Wisdom doesn't matter much in BG2, you get like a bonus spell to 4th level and lower. I'd go with Anomen, can fight, tank, and heal.

Strange that people seem to find something good about Anomen, methinks all he has is lousy stats (well, what of his strenght, dex would be much more important for this one, for he progresses not as a fighter anyways) and unlimited arrogance. Well, there is, of course his quest, but Viconia gives you a romance plot! (sorry all lasses out there :)) and she is as bad as Anomen in close combat...

I did Anomen's upgrade quest and gave him the Flail of the Ages; he then had a good amount of spells to make him a useful cleric, and was dealing out lots of damage in combat even though he doesn't progress as a fighter.

Every cleric is a good cleric as long as they can cast Draw Upon Holy Might in combination with Rightious Magic. Yeah, that's the way to beat the big guys.

I had Keldore and Amonen Fight before. Amonen failed his knighting and was pissed mainly at Keldore talking about crap. Keldore just stands there getting mauled. So I reloaded said good bye to Amonen and picked up Cernd.

O.K. that Vic has a wisdom of 18, but you guys are forgetting about her other advantages. She is a drow elf and has a natural MR of 65%. She is mutch better than Anomen.
