I would create the scroll Protection from the Be's...

    As in...

"I be tellin you...I be smokin blunts every day foo...that's wuz up...WHAA?!"

    or...

"Since grandma be going to the club tonight, I be taking my kids to my prom wit me..."

The Be's know no color nor gender...they are perilous indeed and I need a buffer...or a new job.

[IMG] As far as Baldur's Gate is concerned...

Mind Protection - prevent confusion, psychic attacks (from Illithid), charm, etc...

    For real life ....

Protection from Sun - for all of us pale people. :)

For BG - Protection from Backstab. Pretty self-explanatory

For real life - Protection from Caffeine Withdrawl. Gotta have that caffeine fix first thing in the morning otherwise it's a bad day for everyone.

In BG: Protection from Dragon: + 50% resistance to all dragon's attack. Frikrag will be nothing with that!

In real life: A scroll of Turn Charle

it's not realy a protection but MAN I hate this guys!

    Edit: Yeah more typo error...

In the game: Protection from Negative Energy (I know it's a spell, but I don't remember a scroll). And this one will last a hell of a lot longer, too.

In real life: Protection from Pregnancy. No more slippin' 'em past the goalie, fellahs! :D

That last scroll should be pretty unnecessary, as you can get several items with the same properties: The Unholy Rubber thing of protection from pregnancy +5 (several variants of this one), Dry Potion of Protection from pregnancy, Weird-looking thing of protection from pregnancy (this one is probably of gnomish origin).

I'd vote for a scroll of protection from hangovers.

[IMG] I want a Protection from Female Nagging Ring

    Now who couldn't use that?

But it would have to have 6000 charges!! or it wouldn't last a month... :D

I'd make a Protection from Stupidity scroll. It would protect me from my mother in law, my brother in law, my students, my administrator, and several people from around town.

Man, have you ever thought about moving to a different town? :D

For real life i would love to have a scroll of Protection from Guilt. Although some people have that as an innate ability.

For BG2, i would like to have a scroll of Protection from Forgetting to Save Your Game :D

@ spoogemonkey, I suppose the ring can have the protection as a perminant attribute.

Protection from Morons: Causes everybody within a 50-mile radius to disappear (at least, in my town).

Protection from Bad Hair Days: Self-explanatory.

For in-game: Protection from Cheesy Tactics. Give one to all of the enemies.
