Last weekend I have done the unbelivable, by rolling 102 stats for my pure paladin.

    Here is the result:

    Name: Aragorn
    Class: paladin

str: 18/11 +1 to hit +3 to damage - could have been better.
    dex: 18
    con: 18
    int: 15
    wis: 16
    cha: 17

Sarevok only had 95! Though his str. was 18/00.

My question is: What was your biggest roll ever?

My personal best was 97 for my current ranger.

    STR: 18/85
    DEX: 18
    CON: 18
    INT: 17
    WIS: 18
    CHA: 08

OK, so he's not the nicest guy but he rarely misses a savings throw :)

    Hi,

My best was 96 for my elven fighter/mage, my first ever character, took 30 mins of rolling.
This was in BG1 however. I played him through BG1 and he had access to all those lovely tomes and ended up with the following stats at the start of SOA

    str 19
    dex 20
    con 18
    int 19
    wis 12
    cha 16

He is currently in chapter 8 of TOB.

    Cheers,

    WittyNewt.

If you want high rolls just install TDD.
Without TDD I usually stop rolling when I reach 82

Wow, and there I was thinking 92 was a freak roll...
I usually give up around 85 or so, I don't like to spend longer rolling stats than I do playing (in any one visit).

[IMG] Why go out and buy a cool computergame when some can spend ages with the screen for stats rolling?

Yes, if you make a game like this one that I spent years playing as a kid:)

I only took my first roll once. Why? Say I choose a fighter (or fighter kit). I don't feel up to the challenge of minimum stats so I like his strength high. This almost never happens the way I want so I reroll until I get numbers that vaguely reflect what sort of character I'm trying to be.
In any case CON needs to be high unless you like dying - for some reason I only ever get sub-average HD rolls, but that's another topic...

Edit: StressedE, back in the mists of time, when I was still at school, my friends and I would occasionally use the random number generator on our calculators as a primitive "battle" game... (obviously we are FAR more sophisticated now, rofl):D

  15. Huh, there is actually a game when you can roll numbers all day long? Where can I get one? Tell me!. But seriously folks I've never gotten more than 90 on a roll and to tell you the truth, before I discovered sorcerers place, I never bothered with re-rolling myself...

    [IMG] Hi,

Yep, I'll admit it, I am a bit of a powergamer and like my characters to have decent stats - afterall he/she is meant to be the most powerful Bhaalspawn (potentially...)

30 mins was my worst offence, typically its 5-10 mins now...

It would be so much easier if Bioware had added an extra box the just gave you a total and you could then distribute how you saw fit.

    Cheers,

    WittyNewt.

My personal best was with a swashbuckler I planned to duel to a mage.

    ST- 18
    AG- 18
    Con-18
    INT-18
    Wis- 8
    CH- 18

98 altogether. Took about 5 minutes. The sad thing is, I never did end up playing the guy. =p

WittyNewt, That's EXACTLY what i want. They give you minimum stats, then you get to distribute from a box. But nooooo...
