[IMG] Whenever I have more than one gem bag, or bag of holding at the same time, they always have the same things in them. For instance, if I have a gem bag with a pearl and a black opal in it, and buy another gem bag, it automatically has a pearl and a black opal in it. If I take the pearl or the black opal out of one bag, the one in the other bag dissappears. Obviously, I can't keep two different inventories in two different bags. Is it supposed to work like this, or am I missing something?

[IMG] Thanks, but I already installed the patch, and it's still happening. By the way, I don't have ToB yet.

The bag of Holding is found in Spellhold.

    What?

    That's impossible...

Wasn't it just a gem bag?

rangerdan.. the bag you got from the merchant in Waukeen's promenade or from Ribald is the Gem Bag... its not the bag of holding.. you can only get the Bag of holding from spellhold.. i dont think even those bonus merchants in the Adventurer's mart sells a bag of holding

Yes, two bags of holding are impossible. But I know your problem - one day I was sick of all the loose stuff in my inventories so I created the bag of holding from the console shortly before I went to spellhold.

When I picked it up there I had tow bags of holding with the same inventory - due to the identical item code ;) I never again tried something like that for it's not really necessary.

It seems as if the items in the cases & bags are listed for each item (like scrollcases [bag03 & ...b-f], bag of holding [bag04 - only once!] or gem bags [bag02 & ...b-f]) in a separate registry. That would explain the duplication. I recommend to look into shadowkeeper's item list, where you can see the items with their codes and get a clue about how many of them you can find in the game ;)

There is actually quite a benifit about two of the same items in the bags of holding, as if your quick (and you have two or more bags of holding, and your seperated from the group for any reason) you can transfer potions of healing etc through the bag and use them, regardless hoew far you are from the other holder.
