Hello everyone,

I was just curious what your dream magic spell would be - or at least a spell that would greatly enhance the game...

Perhaps a spell that would create a barrier between your party and the enemy - instead of using summoned creatures as fotter....

 

I would like a levitate spell that would allow you to pass over areas of the map where walking is not allowed. It would also be fun to use during combat, having a mage flying around firing spells from above outside the reach of enemy melee attacks.

 

A levitate spell would a very nice addition! It might even stop Aerie from whining!

 

Rapture Of The Mind (Abjuration, Enchantment/Charm)
Level: 10
Range: visual range of caster
Duration: Instantaneous
Casting Time: 0
Area of Effect: target creature
Saving Throw: None

When this spell is cast at a target spellcaster, it will make him forget all memorized spells or, in the case of sorcerers, completely drain their current spell powers. In return, the caster gains access at all the spells that were erased from the mind of the target. The stolen spells are memorized instantly and can be used by the caster without any restrictions of level or mage school. The target's magic resistance, if any, does not affect this spell. There is no saving throw.

 

Levitate you say huh? Maybe I'll just try and work on that one. Lets see. There is no way of going through places that are not passable but I could make a spell that makes you "fly" and you thus become immune to melee attacks (they can't hit you in the air) and 50% posibility that every spell or missile will miss you.

My dream spell would be Teleport without error. I could really use it sometimes.

 

'Summon Courtesian/Harlot'

Summons a courtesian/harlot of opposite sex of caster. When talked to (as per the Wish spells) the courtesian/harlot can perform one of the following actions...

Either:
Restores all HP, removes Tiredness and increases the probability of all saving throws for a short time (depending on character level). However, costs 100 gold pieces and has a small chance of Disease which is inversely proportional to the characters WISDOM score... More of a pleasure spell really...

Or:
Talk to any humanoid creature with sexual instincts. He/she can 'distract' them for a certain time period while player can do other actions. Pickpocket attampts on a 'distracted' character have 100% success rate, and any hit will instantly kill them

 

A spell witch swithced places between a char and an enemy would be pretty nice.
Or spell witch killed everything, no save allowed. Just like ctrl+y with the exception that it wouldnt be cheating.

 

It's spelled "which" BTW and the spell is called Boom (the one that killes everything).

 

There is an un-named ring whose resource is WALLPASS. Could this be a sort of flying ability? I mean, if your character can pass through walls, just call it flying.

As for my spell, I was working on one when my D: drive dropped dead. Now I can't play any game that requires a disc!!!!

Anyhow, the spell was for my mage, Davaeorn. It was an innate ability that lets him shapeshift into a blue dragon at will. It gives him the avatar, breath weapon, all the abilities and strength, and the ability to turn back into human form. Screw Tenser! I'm a dragon at will!!

how about something like a charm spell only the npc would recognize you as someone he was just thinking about and talk to you like an old friend,let you pass ,give info,hit on you,the possibilitys are endless and maybe humorous too.

I would be happy with a Wall of Fire spell, or Water or Earth or any elemental type ... even bone

 

I think a spell something like this would be pretty cool:

Whenever the spellcaster is attacked, that energy is drained from the attacker rather than the attacked, and the same amount is added to the spellcaster total HP as temporary HP.

 

A spell that could transport the caster to wherever in the world (whatever that means to you) would be terribly nice.

Also, a spell that automatically recasts Spell Sequencer after you've used it up.

 

Shapechange Dragon!
Level 10

It would be cool, to cast a spell and your mage can shapechange into a dragon form like Draconis or Abazigal... I just don't know what kind of dragon would be the coolest. Black? Red? Green? Silver maybe? Or Gold ! And you'll have a dragon's breath ability...

 

Detect Cheese
Level 1

This spell, when cast by the computer, allows it to tell when the player is attempting to use cheesy tactics. If so, it instantly kills all PCs on the map.

 

Turn ethereal

So you can pass through walls and locked doors and have an increase on hide in shadows, or a 25% chance that you turn invisible.

 

I'd like a 'Dimension Door' that can not only teleport within sight, but anywhere on the map, and anywhere (i.e. Like the move to certain area cheat, etc)

My dream spell already exists; chain contingency, or something.

Psionics would be nice. Stuff like Tower of Iron Will would be nice against illithids

 

This reply is awfully late, but I would really enjoy a control weather spell that would make it rain (for no reason other than I like walking through the streets of Athkatla in the rain, it sounds and looks nice)

 

Enduce Vommiting

This spell removes any entoxication instantly after long nights at the pub.
