Try The Shapeshifter. Why Beacause Avooch Dar Made a solorun and completed Bg2. He used lots of summonings and used his werewolf form a lot. Both to heal and to avoid mean situations.
Avooch will probably pop by later with more info if You choose this kit. But remember Its so great that You can solo with it.

[IMG] Thumb down is for the question.

There is no such thing as BEST kit.
All classes including kits can finish the game. Some kits are better in one thing, other kits are better in other things.

The only question is are YOU able to finish the game. It is not: are kits able.

Heh heh heh. I have a vision. It tells me that in not so many years, a not so famous man from Opuzen will run for president. He will run a campaign mixed of Pure Violence and cunning Peptalk. The Question is do YOU know who he is. ;)

PS I have a link to Avooch story. Read and Wheep:

Then I guess I'll withdraw my campaign too.

By the Way assasin. Your name indicates that a most prudent choice is the "avenger". A basilisk for instance can take assasinations to new hights. They can't scream when they are stoned....

Don't forget the Totemic Druids, they are really fun to play, their ability to invoke Spirit Animals is way cool. (where else in this game can you see a snake attaking  ) And those Spirit Animals are arguably some of the best summoning creatures in BG2.

Get yourself an avenger. The shapeshift options, at least early in the game, are o so very cool...fire salamander for the trolls, sword spider if you find yourself in a web, etc. You might want to jack with the stats a bit, if you don't mind cheating. I think that before ToB the best armor you can wear is Shadowdragon scale.

By the bye, there's a link in here somewhere that'll give you some decent portraits for him...there's one by Gerald Brom, an long-haired albino guy who looks like he's wearing shadowdragon scale, looks like he's been through some harrowing training, and, at a stretch, looks like he's carrying a scimitar.

And if you carry him through to ToB, just you wait, just you wait. Druids make up a lot of ground in ToB.

Thanks, nobleman...I'm a bit too dunderheaded to know how to set up hyperlinks. And I'd really like to know how to put those rolling eye faces in my message lines...
