Where exactly is valygar?

    I (finally) opend the page for the planar sphere walkthrough (I am having browser difficulties) and I noticed that Valygar is in his hut in umar hills, where is his hut/cabin at, and what should I do?
    use his body to open the door or use him as a party member?
    I have:
    Phycho Bob
    Minsc
    Jan
    Aerie
    Viconia
    Jaheira
    I'm pretty happy with this combonation of people and I don't feel the need for another fighter just yet, what do you think I should do?

    It's in the top of the zone, near the middle. It's like on a mountain or whatever too, and navigating up the mountain starts near the cave of umar(that cave with the umber hulks and gibberlings).

    Save and kill him, if the items are nice keep them and go on with the game. If you kinda wanted valygar in your party, and the items are good enough, load your game and don't kill him.

    I would say your decision to bring him along or kill him depends mostly on your alignment and also what you might have agreed to do.

    For example, my character was Neutral Good, and at first I had agreed to hunt Valygar for those Cowled fools who wouldn't give me any information about why he was wanted.

    So, when I found Valygar, I gave him a chance to explain the circumstances, and of course believed him since the wizard wouldn't tell me the truth before.

    He was a valued member of my crew ever since, and stayed by my side even into hell and back... I was a little disappointed that the game positioned him wrong near the end so I didn't get to hear his reasons for coming along like all the others...

    BTW Blackthorne ended up Neutral Good after the trials in hell by remaining true to his alignment even though he was asked to sacrifice much...

    I just play it really how it falls into place.

    For instance, when I found Jan Jansen and that ever so rich bloody tax payer came along, I wouldn't hear what he had to say. Lost four rep points mind you attacking the city guards and two wizards, but ah well.

    Then I found Viconia. She burned and didn't smell very nice afterwards.

    Then while exploring the estates, Anomen was so mad Minsc entered his house (Minsc told him off when they met for the first time in the Copper Cornet) that the entire family attacked the party. LOL!

    Too much fun now as I'm finishing up the last part of the city, the Bridge District.

    What I'd like to know is that Korgan told Aerie off and Aerie threatened to leave in 1 day if Korgan wasn't gone. Any truth to this?

    Oh no. I don't dislike Elves at all. It's Drow I dislike, although only based on their popularity with all the power gamers who want to play them for their innate abilities and high attributes. I love the idea of their race in general but they're tainted by all those who want to be like Drizzt, smell like Drizzt, etc.

    Viconia deserved to die for she was just trying to be like Drizzt :)

    Yeah, I can really see the resembalance, that stiff-upper-lip accent and "really good skill" is all noticeable, Viconia is always the first to die in my party in a hard fight.
