What a Warblade, and where do you find that one?

 

The warblade is sold by Ribald as part of the special stock that you can access during chapter 6.

 

Unless you're fighting a certain vicious undead mage .

 

oh. The game always glitches up when i enter there after the underdark so i have never found out what the adventures mart sells after then. To bad i guess.

I Always have Minsc dual-wielding maces, mostly because he starts out with most proficiensies at that, and with wich he is a killing machine. to me he ALWAYS have the most on killing percent no matter what.

 

When I have Minsc in my party, I usualy have him lead, and since he kept saying..
"Halberd sharpened and raring to go"
I just had to give him the best halberd I could find, this was made rather easy in the underdark.

 

Hate to break it to you Stu, but I'm pretty sure Minsc's line is "Armored, sharpened, and raring to go!"


PS: I usually give Minsc a 2-handed sword, but once in a while I'll have him dual-wield maces for some variety.

 

C'mon people - Minsc is meant to have a 2h sword (well IMO anyway) - having him dual-wield is so not the spirit of him - it might make him more effective but it's just not right.

I usually have him carry whatever best 2h I have available - and there should have been banter 'tween him and Lilarcor - I'm not sure wether there is 'cos I haven't played for way too long (obviously) but there definitely should be.

 

It's got to be a two-handed sword - as noted above, it just seems wrong to give the guy anything else.

 

I usually have him wield Lilarcor (or some other 2h sword). But every now and then I'll have him use a halberd; just to be a little different (and since I usually wield a 2h sword myself, AND have Keldorn in my party...having 3 warriors wielding the same type of weapon is kinda boring).

Anyways, 2h sword is the Minsc way to go, but I found him better dual wielding a mace and perhaps the Equalizer later in the game (especially with the alignment fix so monsters tend to be evil more)

 

Come on! Minsc need Big swords for the evil-butt-kicking! Boo says that Halberds like Dragon breath and wave, and Two handed Sword like Vorpal Sword and Lilarcor are the real answer.

Typically I have him slicin' people up with Lilarcor, but then I switch to either the Wave or the Dragon's Breath halberd, just because I like halberds for some reason.

 

Why has no-one even mentioned equalizer? I love that weapon, and give it to him with the sentinel. He's pretty amazing with those two equipped. Took me ages to realise it was only 1 handed, lol.

 

I always start him off with a Composite bow+1 (very early on) and Lilarcor, but as he levels up and I 've spent a few points on mace and flail; Improved Mace of Disruption in one hand and in the off hand the Flail of Ages, worked well fighting Bohdi whilst protected against level drain

 

Lilacor! Always. "Larry" (as Minsc so wonderfully named him) and Minsc were made for each other. If you have the banter pack and the Minsc/Larry/Boo (always mention the hamster!) combo, you have some funny dialoged. I live for the banters. Also, to me (and probably other people too!) Minsc without Lilacor is like Misc without Boo! It just isn't going to happen.
The Flail of the Ages is a wonderful weapon, but I only put it with Minsc before I found out about Lilacor. And sorry guys, but it just does NOT feel right to have Minsc using a bow or any other long range weapon. I always keep him equipped with one, though, but I almost never use it. Bows are for thieves, slings are for druids and darts are for the people with slings to use after they run out of bullets.
Oh, and here's a banter you can't miss if you love the Minsc/Larry/Boo combo: After a hard battle (if you're low level), Minsc starts banter with Jaheria. I'm not going to spoil it, but it's hilarious. The requirements for this banter are:

• The banter pack
• Minsc/Larry Boo combo
• Jaheria (equipped with at least one scimatar)

Some ways to get it to happen faster are:

• Be in the Druid grove for the first time (that's the only place it happened for me)
• Fight the first set of evil druids (and the trolls)

I dunno if you have to sleep or not...it's been a while since I last did it.
