<Warning> Not good English </warning>
There are two programs - MeshViewer.exe and SKMConverter.exe.
Extract it on you hard disk and try launch MeshViewer.exe.
Usage:
1.MeshViewer - allow you to view 3D models. At startup will show config dialog.
(Only at first startup,if you want to show it again delete file Ogre.cfg
in program directory).
File Resoure.cfg contains pathes from where program will take files with .Mesh extension.
By default it is EDIA in program directory.
I puted test model here Efreet from TOEE, soat first launch you choose model in combobox
and you will see Efreet.
Camera Control:
Arrows and W,A,S,D - camera translation.
If you drag mouse(moving mouse with pressed left or right button) you will rotate camera.
2.SKMConverter.exe - console programm,to convert SKM,
MDF files to .Mesh and .Material files(To view in MeshViewer).
Command line arguments: SKMConverter [-i] sourcefilename.skm [destfilename.mesh]
All material files .mdf should be in the same dir with .skm!!!
-i - interactive Mode. Allows you to name some materials and Mesh mnually.
This is important! Some models in Toee contains some material names with '-' characters
and spaces.By default program uses the same(but with this names can be problems in MeshViewer
, for example missing texture).
Important: .tga Files (textures) also should not contain spaces.
If so:
a.Rename them without spaces.
b.Edit in Notepad .mdf files(replace old textures names with new).
Then try to convert.
Example - SKMConverter -i Media/Efreet.skm
it will create Efreet.Mesh and Efreet.Material.
Don't forget to place .tga file near .Mesh file to view.
Warning:
Material Converter is not completed yet.
So some textures info can be missed.I tried Zgguthomoy or Demon
and program loads only one texture for now(So Demon will not in flames as in TOEE).
Also PC characters has some other Materials system so can be problems with them.
