    Speaking of Cher...I remember once reading a very critical review of the first movie. Among other things, the reviewer complained about the appearance of Christopher Lee as Saruman...they said "He looks like Cher would look, if she'd allowed herself to age naturally". I have a hard time looking at Saruman and not thinking of that remark...I think the reviewer may have been right!
