3 Disc BG, patches

    I installed the 3 disc set of BG w/ TOTSC, and then also installed the two patches, one for BG and one for TOTSC. After I did that, when I was going from screen to screen, I would be asked to put in the old numbered disc's (1-6). I uninstalled the game and reinstalled and did not install any of the patches. Now to the question... Are they necessary to have installed or am I just wasting my time? Secondly, if they are necssary, are there any that relate to the 3 disc set? Thanks for your help.

    You don't need any patches. The 3CD version is the latest. If you have gone to Interplay's website and you have gone to the support section for BG: The Original Saga you'll have seen it.
