311 anyone?

    So, my curiosity bug is acting up again...so I'm just wondering if any of you SPers like the band 311.

    I think they have a lot of great songs, and their beat is awesome.

    One thing I don't like is the fact that the song 'Come Original' (which tells all entertainers to "come original") is on the 'Greatest Hits '93 to '03' album, which also has 'Love Song' (which is a cover song from 'The Cure')...just seems kind of odd to me, even though I like both those songs.
    Maybe 311 just forgot that they wrote 'Come Original' when they did the cover for 'Love Song'. :doh: :rolling:

    Yeah, I used to listed to 311 a lot. I don't like their newer stuff too much. Their first album 'Music' is still my favorite.

    I'm not sure how to describe their music exactly. Perhaps a mix of The Police and Beastie Boys? I don't know if that analogy really fits, but it's the first thing that comes to mind.

    They're not too bad, but I can only stand to listen to them for so long...

    the girl in their video for lovesong was a total hottie though :p

    and "Amber" wasn't too bad..
