    Not that I know of... But for +5 weapons, there's a Hammer, Staff and Sling in addition to Carsomyr that I know of.

    [​IMG] You can have a Staff of Power made by the apprentices in the sphere if you're a mage, but there's only a slim chance of succes by doing it. Also, most likely all of your wards will die in the process of making it, so if at all, you'll be picking it up from their corpses. Since I'm playing a good aligned character I obviously didn't let them try such a complicated enchantment.

    There's an excellent Staff of the Magi you can get from the lost Twisted Rune subquest that should serve you just as well. (Or Staff of Rynn for pure bashing damage).
    Might as well leave the staff of power for the expansion, since I'm sure there'll be one much easier to obtain there.

    [​IMG] Powerful mages can create their own, for their few melee purposes. Minimal proficiency in long swords comes for free, and can easily be enhanced with tensors trafo.

    [​IMG] Some spells also come as potions:
    e.g. heal, speed, invisibility.
    I can't remember a tenser drink.
    What bar serves it???? :)

    I mean that in the FR series of Books The Tenser was a potion. In the book Passage to Dawn, Harkle Harpell almost drinks it to fight some sea zombies. Thats why I thought it was a potion.

    [​IMG] Staff of the Magi is only good because of its sideeffects i know it strikes like a +5 weapon but it is only +1 to damage and THAC0

    There are times when striking as a +5 weapon are very important; especially if nobody else has a weapon of suffiecient enchantment to damage a particular monster.
