A few TERRIBLE screenshots from MY game

Well I wanted to show you guys a few interesting scenes from my heavily modded game and latest high-power party.

But the PC I play BG2 does not have internet connection so I couldn't find a way to show you screenshots.

My floppy disk driver was also broken.
I don't have a CD-writer.
So I had NO choice but to do the following:

I took pictures of the screenshots via my mobile-phone's camera. This was really hard as most of the time the photo was blank or dark. I tried hard to find the right angle to succesfully take a picture of a screenshot.

So I actually took the photographs of screenshots, and with a good friend's flash-disk I carried them into computer; internet and well to you.

I know it sounds crazy.

BTW I always play BG2 on 640x480 resulotion.

So the screenshots are bad quality, but the themes are more important here. DoN'T worry they are still quite recognizible, trust me.

I had ventured Yaga Shura's lair and eventually killed him, and these screenshots are from that day.

Obviouslyi you may not want to take a look if you haven't slaughtered Yaga Shura in ToB.

Here is the inventory of my main char, Druidic Sorcerer.

With Avatar scripting, I turned his avatar into mage one, which makes more sense than the stupid cleric one. I have one pixel productions mod so the inventory is a little different. Also there are lots of mod items here, like Cloak of Vecna, Staff of Elemental Mastery, Wand of Avara Kedavra, a spiffy mage helmet, bracers of that mad sorcerer from PS mod, etc. My PC's class is listed as 'Half-drow' thanks to Subrace mod. A cool scene of my PC going a Magic Missile berserk on an 'Improved' Fire Giant. Notice that Fire Giant's circle is YELLOW, yes he is panicked. I have G3 tweaks so spell casting graphics are different, more spiffy ones from IWD2.

My mirror-imaged PC is slaughtering a few Improved FGiants at his leisure. Notice the two Fgiants, their spirits are leaving them as they succumb to my Finger of Deaths. The other Fgiant looks healthy huh? Wrong, he is already petrified. Heh. Look:

Here is the final showdown against Imp. Yaga Shura. His army is busy dealing with my fighter NPCs, summoned horde of 12 Fire Elementals, 24 Mountain Bears, and 6 Planetars. Yes, Project Image cheese never wears off. Anyway, you will notice obscene amount of spells in the screen, my PC (mirro-imaged, casted True Sight, with a lot of spell effects around) has released a lot of ABDHWs, but they only tickle Yaga Shura; then my PC discovers his weakness, and casts the appropriate attack spell. No spoilers here, but you will notice the icy sparks here and there. Yaga SHura himself is encased in a ice wall; this is due to unique spell of DS, Cone of Freezing Cold, YS is frozen, and takes 150+ damage, but does not die. See Immy casting a spell? She is preparing an Improved Alacrity. (look at the alteration spell graphic from IWD) It is funny that after finishing it she will launch a few MMissiles and kill YS almost accidentally. Oh well! Fear Immy, she slaughtered Yaga Shura! Here:

Hope you enjoyed the shots. I agree they are of bad quality but I wanted to share them with you soo much I had no other choice.

You utterly suck. I was expecting screenshots, not shots of the screen. Don't you have a "Print Screen" button on your keyboard?

Don't you have an USB ? I think I know how you feel, long ago I went thru a lot of hassle just to show ppl a screenshot of my Gnoll elite dealing the last blow to the Shadow Dragon while my party was shattered every corner

 

The Magic Missle Show is only thing I can see on those screens without True Seeing.

BTW, what kind of monitor do U use? It seem like TV set from 'social' seventhies 0o.

 

Those are so bad, Silverstar! You do what you can, when (and with what) you can. I like the second shot. Lots of pretty colors and all fuzzy, too.

You can have new casting graphics by G3 tweak pack, it gives IWD casting graphics which are more spiffy.

I also noticed that some of my spells effects are enhacned, like all cloud-type spells, they look more like 'clouds', or cone of cold, which looks more transparent, icy, and glitters as it moves. I am not sure which mod made them so though.

My monitor is a pretty standart, normal monitor. Not a flat-or other spiffy ones. I guess the angles I took the shots made it look weird. My friend had the flash disc required, but he is my school-firend, and my school is basically 250 Kms away from my home; so I took the pictures and use my friend's equipment to transfer it to my e-mail, then upload to a picture hosting site. It was quite tedious you know!

Hey, he did title the thread "TERRIBLE" screen shots. You all knew what you were getting into.

Hey on the positive side, I like the way your PC/avatar looks w/ all the custom items.

But I can barley see the other screen shots , although I can tell that there the is a bunch a ABDHW!!

 

How about starting a competition: who can get the crappiest screenshots that are still recognizable?

Sorry for troubling/hurting your sensitive eyes guys.

I had to take shots in such different and weird angles, or the picture would be dark and/or blank. Ever tried taking the photo of a computer screen?

Thanks, I am glad you liked the way my PC's avatar looks, or tries to look at least. Yes, there are lots of ABDHWs on YagaShura picture, but they each did a funny 4-5 damae to his thick skin. Look for the cone of freezing ocne effect instead, the tough guy failed his save vs spells, was frozen, and took massive damage! Some like it hot!
