Im making a new party of 6 and im having problems with my last char. My 5 other chars are:
DG illusionist X/monk1/rogue1/pal1/ranger1 and I may add some more odd lvls later on.

Halforc barb X/druid Y with maybe 11 lvls barb

Drow wiz X/rogue1 - my enchanter

    Aasimar pal 1-3/sorc X - primary spellcaster

Sh-dwarf Fighter X /Cleric (dreadmaster) Y Probably just 4 lvls fighter. 1 of those taken right away and the rest later on. May be exchanged to a DG dreadmaster 29/monk1

My last char has to have 11 lvls bard but I don't think it's worth it making him pure. I already have enough meleepower, divine magic and arcane magic but I really want this 6th char. I have a few alternatives:

human Fighter4/barb5/ranger5/rogue5/bard11 or something like that with low charisma making him unable to cast spells. Will i have time to sing while fighting without using the lingering-song feat in a way that it may seem like cheating?

Human Bard11/sorc19 May be used to take spells like knock, see invisibility and buffs and take just 1 attack-spell/lvl

Drow Bard 11/cleric19 - would not need to rest much with all the healingpower.

Human Bard 11/rogue10/wiz9 taking all unneccecary skillpoints and lowlvl spells. Would probably be almost worthless.

Any other ideas?? What's the best 6th char I can make with at least 11 lvls bard???

'DG illusionist X/monk1/rogue1/pal1/ranger1 and I may add some more odd lvls later on.'

I love this build, but I went cleric1 instead of pal1 so I could cast some minor buffs. I love the ranger level, I duel wield the moonblade and a vampiric dagger, descent damage from my scout/ target. The bonus hit points help against those tough monsters who get a lucky hit.

I had a great bard11/ pal X, who ended up with the Cera sword. The Charisma help both classes and I used some magic to boost his strength from my starting 12. Go heavy in Dex, Int, Chr to start, make him your starting talker. When he moves to Pal, you may want someone else to get the money, but you may not need it by then. I used him as backup to everyone and he mostly used bow unless I felt confident he could wade in to melee without getting killed (low HP due to low Con). Lingering song and Cera sword = death dealer!

 Remember that Mages ingeneral get absolutely no new spell slots from L21 to L24. So you might want to stop at L21 Illusionist and have the freedom of 9 levels to spread about in new classes.
My DG is an LE Rogue[2]/Demarch of Mask[2]/Fighter[2]/Monk[2]/Ranger[1]/Illusionist[21]. I am not giving him any Monk levels till we get to the monastry (RPing that part a bit;))
Monk[1]/Pally[2]/Ranger[1]/Rouge[1]/Fighter[2]/Cleric[2] might be a good idea.

The Bard[11]/Druid[x] is the most useful build imo. Ignore physical stats and concentrate only on Wis, Int and Char. Singing bears are absolute fun, no one can hurt thse guys
Another type is the Bard[11]/Cleric[x]. The absolutely all round solution to healing. Just make sure you get the alignment right so you can pick the subset you want.

I would ask you to reconsider your barb/druid. While Clerics can be a mix-in, Druid generally is a full time.
Pally[2] sould be enough for your sorc.

Last time i had an almost fulltime druid it was a druidX/monk1/ranger1 but i didn't use shapeshifts (= almost no use for AC-bonus of monklvl) other than for healing 'couse i didn't find them good at all. Dualwielding isn't better than 2-hand or sw-shield so no use for ranger-lvl to the druid. Now I'm taking one barb-lvl and then enough druid-lvls to make him able to cast almost all spells. Then a couple of more barb-lvls gives him more HP. I will focus on the druidside and only take barb-lvls later on. The bard/druid and bard/cleric sounds fun but will I use 2 druids or 2 clerics?? I could maybe make her a female drow but which cleric-order should i use? I already have one dreadmaster. Would it be more useful than a Bard11/sorc19??

    @ Shrikant
Why Demarch in your decoy??? LG with pally gives holy avenger and LE with Dreadmaster gives wisbonus.

Just Rping it a bit. The Demarch's bonus to a couple of thief skills making Mask someone a rogue would naturally worship.

I really cant see a Baneite daring to be distracted into any other class.

Last time i went with that kind of build i thaught of him being a monk with some intress in evil gods like bane, not as a fulltime banite priest with lits of other classes. I think i'll wait some time before inserting my 6th char. I now have 3 intressting builds:
Human Bard sorc with stats something like this:
14-18-18-3-5-18 (i think one of my chars can have poor willsave and it will be better with the bard and the sorc classes.)

    human Bard/druid with:
12-14-14-3-18-14 (I don't like shapeshifts so i give him atleast decent physical stats. My other chars cover the important skills.) Both of these can take the elemental feats later on

    Drow Cleric/bard with:
12-16-16-5-18-13 (elemental feats arn't worth the extra 7 abilitypoints. Wolfhat gives the missing cha-point to cast his lvl4-spell)

As I see it, making him druid would give him worse stats than the other 2 (I want him to use bows)
Which of these is the best or should i make him different?
