A problem with the new chat server

    Remove all ads!
    A bit of a problem, you can't create clones without getting a temporary ban. Keep this in mind if ever you decide to DM a game on there and use NPC clones.

    Hm, I didn't even think there could be some actually valid use to clones... I can see this being a problem. But I suppose this can easily be overcome by the DM just typing the name of the NPC out. Like this:

    <Tal> Commoner: Psst, I have something to tell you.

    You get the idea.

    Yeah, an easy solution, but it'd really suck if a DM got banned for it in a session and I know that most DM's use the cloning method.

    OK, I tried to coerce the ircops to make a few exceptions there, but they won't - either for clones or idle banning. So off to GamesNet we go, where neither will be a problem. See you there.
