[IMG] Hello, I am currently attempting to modify my baldur's gate 2 characters to be exactly duplicates of my role playing groups pen and paper PCs. Thanks to shadow keeper, I was able to port over their stats, and the in game functions and voice-overs have really gone a long ways toward letting me and my now divided group play again, despite thousands of miles seperating.

But I have hit a snagg with magical items, as many of the PHB itemswe have are not existant. Our fighter mage's cloak of the bat, for example. Is their a third party application that would allow me to edit or out right create new items? I am somewhat familiar with the hex naming conventions from using shadow keeper to import every convievable item ( there is alot of freaky items that you will never see, several figuires that never appear, and a cornicopia of magical instruments, as well as items weapons, and other gear that I have never seen in any guide).

Just wondering if there is any way to re-create our groups gear for our electronic adventures.

Thanks for any help you can render.

Hmm, the only item editing/creating facilities that I can think of off-hand are at Team BG. But that site is currently down last time I looked. I imagine others on the boards can give you more detail.

Yeah, TeamBG has/had a program called Infinity Engine Editor. It'll let you make/change all items, including spells. You can make import files to send to your friends, so everything goes into solution.

Getting ahold of IEEp is another matter...

IEEP is now available for public download and has been for over a week now. Currently TeamBG has had a site facelift and they aren't up on the site. Also it seems the site is down as Ken is having troubles with his ISP.

just wait and they'll be back i am sure ;)
