    [​IMG] I couldn't help but notice that the battle of Sorcerer's place was recently locked down. Not that I contributed to it a lot, but it was all rather amusing. Was it locked down because it was getting too many pages, a la Random Babbling, or was it locked down because BTA found it worthy of destruction?

    My basic question is, if a new one were started, would it be locked down?

    It would likely get locked down eventually since every one of these things, no matter how well they started off, become a dull, lame post dumping ground.

    IMO it got a bit out of control. I think a similar thing with rules could be pulled off, but with such a free for all you couldn't tell what was happening. Maybe something like one on one duels might work. Or small teams. But all of SP in a free for all brawl got way too much.

    [​IMG] It got a bit like London on a Saturday night, without the drugs.

    What if it was like the poll on the BG2 forum? Several sets of Spers are put against each other then go onto the next round.

    Set a class, then allow something like 1 weapon, 1 armour and an amulet or something. And an ability/spell.
