What the **** is wrong with americans nowadays? They vote for a murdering, lying, cheating, dumb, weak, fascist, elitist guy who hates the world and didn't even win the first election to win the second as well.

I mean, if USA would now be hitted by another terrorist attack which would demolish their economy and drag the nation and their corrupt regime into the bottom, I wouldn't feel bad for them. The only ones I would feel bad over is the Democrats WHO WENT OUT AND VOTED, or rather, everyone that voted anything but Bush.

And how stupid is the average american since you vote for this person to lead you country into yet another, or maybe even TWO new wars and to have even more hundreds, probably even thousands, killed every year because of his incompentent mistakes?

What the **** is wrong with America today?

Disclaimer: I repeat, this does not affect those who voted anything but Bush or couldn't vote because of age or something like that, for all you others over there, I really hope you get what you deserve.

Oh come on, the Russians voted for Putin and I hear no one complaining about him either and in my book he's a lot worse than what Bush or the neocons will ever be.

I do not think the result matters much anyway. Bush won't be going to war for a while, even if would not have the brains to realize this then I'm sure someone in his adminstration has to have. Besides look at the bright side, now the democrats won't be getting all the complaints for not being able to clean up "their" mess in Iraq.

In my view the biggest damage has allready been done and now it's just about who does a better job cleaning up the mess, and if Bush fails to do so we can allways say "I told you so..." to the republicans. Cheer up, it's not like the world is going to end because of this. ;)

Get over it, if Bush is what they want, then you just have to accept that. Think of it on the bright side though, now you have four more years to spill your guts on how much you dislike Dubya and the American foreign policy. If Kerry would have won, 95% of the Europeans would be satisfied and their posts would have become a bit cheesy. :D

Nah, wouldnt have been as spiteful and agitated but no American president can be overly popular in Europe. It would be only half the population who bashed Kerry though compared to everyone bashing Bush.

So true, peace and harmony are overrated and within four years we would be begging for a Bush to bash

Yes, how dare a democratic country vote for the man they think will do a better job! It's outrageous! Clearly all morons, since they have a different opinion!

Most people over here don't care who wins the election as long as they quit interfering with N.I. politics unlike Bill Clinton.

That is not entirely true. If USA is democratic, so is Cuba. They have elections too, consisting of:
Bush cheated the former election and while I, until I get more information suggesting otherwise that doesn't look like complete :bs: , I admit that he won this one, and that is why I say that I hope the ones who voted at him get what they deserve.

Wanna hear something really funny ? In four years, when Bush can no longer run for president, someone named Jeb will be a candidate...and will most likely win. :D

The world will never get rid of the Bush family :insert satanic smilie: :D

Pac Man, by that time, I will have a rifle and ammo, so he wont be able to become a president, will he.

And if I find out that he is wearing kevlar and a helmet, I will just shoot him in the groin, removing all possibilities for another Bush running in 40 years. :D

By making such a statement, you have just placed yourself on the CIA's list of possible terrorists. Prepare yourself for an extended vacation at Guantanamo bay. :D

    @ Caleb

I already responded to these issues in the Election Coverage thread, so I'll only add this. Religion trumps everything, and it is the religious right that allowed Bush to win this election. I was an ABB guy (anybody but Bush). The Dems could have dressed a chimp in a suit, and the chimp would have got my vote. I thought that Kerry, while not perfect (every canidate has some warts) did enought ot win. Damn Ohio.

I suppose I should have known better than to think that Caleb might have anything reasonable to say, especially on his subject of such vast experience and expertise, America.

He does make one good point, though - in an election against the likes of Dubya, if the best the Democrats can come up with is John Kerry then we really do deserve whichever idiot we get stuck with. There's one good thing that may yet come out of this election. If we still have a little luck left, the increasing polarization of the major political parties will pave the way for a third to arise and actually have a viable shot in the future.

I'll be there, if it does. Otherwise, I'll be taking language lessons and contacting some of you privately for assistance in job-hunting.

It is amazing how when people don't get their way they turn into children. Here is a news flash "You may not always be right. Your opinion may not be as universal as you wish it to be. Film at eleven."

Thanks to everyone for being reasonable in this thread despite Caleb's opening post which was clearly against the rules for this forum.

[IMG] Same as I posted in the other topic I guess. Caleb*'s post is an example of how NOT to make a post here. But since I'm sure if I close this one down, only more will pop up, so it might as well stay. However, if anyone else posts anything similarly insulting, their posts will either be edited to oblivion or outright deleted. You've been warned.

Edit: I started this post before BTA posted.

Rally, you can come and live in New Zealand if you learn to say "rugby". Plenty of dodgy software projects over here that need all the Q.A they can get.

I apoligize for my first post, it was clearly not written with clear thought and I would delete it, or rather, remove all text from it, but it may make people confused, wondering what became of it in the first place.

    Or something.
