[IMG] The time has come once again my fellow football hooligans, the final!

AC Milan are without midfielder Massimo Ambrosini, who has a thigh injury but are otherwise at full strength. Strikers Hernan Crespo and Filippo Inzaghi are vying for a starting place in the Milan front line.

Long-term absentee Chris Kirkland is the only player missing for Liverpool. Milan Baros is set to start at the expense of Djibril Cisse, while Dietmar Hamann is likely to win a place in midfield at the expense of Igor Biscan.

So many times I've heard the words, Liverpool cant win, they dont have a chance etc etc etc, but it seems we've proved to Europe that we are capable, even with the looming fact that we have thrown away our chance to be in the Champions League next season. Juventus were the first major doubt, then Chelsea, so we now look to AC Milan in Istanbul...

Can Cisse show us what weve been missing ever since his broken leg last year? Can Jamie hold the back as solidly as he did against Chelsea? Or will Shevchenko destroy our dreams of getting our best result since the 1980's?

I'll be cheering Liverpool on, but its going to be difficult. Milan have a better squad on the whole, but it just depends on who is ticking tomorrow night.
Garcia and Gerrard (Liverpools best IMO) need to be on top form for Liverpool to take it. In terms of strike forces - I don't think Baros is up to the task, the judge is still out on Cisse although he seems to have the ability. Nothing really needs to said about schev does it? Although I think it will be tight tomorrow, the battle will be won or list in Midfield. If I had to bet I'd go for 1-0 Milan.

Hope your boys do the business though.......

You know, there is a strange coincidence, every time Liverpool won the champions league, a greek club won both the championship and the cup in the domestic tournaments. My club (Olympiakos) won the cup three days ago, and if we win the game tomorrow, we will be champions as well. I'll let you know one hour before the champions league final. ;)

I've been shouting my face off at the TV.
    It's sooo infuriating.
Liverpool are capable of playing sooo much better than this. Everyone looks tired, jaded, unaware and uninterested.
It's so frustrating watching it. Milan are just playing OK. Liverpool are playing diabolically.

Yeah well... Chelsea screwed up, so they don't belong in the finals either, obviously they weren't good enough. Liverpool is being humiliated, Milan is not one, not two, but several sizes too big for them.
