[IMG] Right now I am in the process of looking at a change in careers and possible a change in working locations. I travel roughly 2+ hours a day to get to and from my job where I barely break $25K a year. Living in the USA in the state of Maine my income level is slightly below average so I can get by with what I am making. However it is hard when you have 3 mouths to feed and knowning that other people who do the same work I do earn $35K+ a year. So with that in mind I have been scanning the job market closer to my home. Only recently did I hear about ACS that has a office right down the street from my house and has a job opening that matches my skills and education. I am considering applying for this job but before I do I would like to gain as much information about this company before I apply. I checked out their website and so far I am impressed with this organization. So any information any one can provided about this organization not listed on their website is appericated. Thanks.

Do you have access to Reuter's or Bloomberg? Those services are pretty much the absolute best way to get a lot of information about a company.

If not, though, the suscription fee is about $35k+.

I take it that is a typo, because paying 35000 for a service is quite expensive.

Well, some of the reports that they offer you are valued at more than $300k.

If you are talking about the ACS building in Lewiston, Maine, then my suggestion is to use it as a last resort. They used to be called LiveBridge (I used to work for their branch up here).

The job is okay, and the hours and pay are fine, but for the most part, their management is a joke. If you want an inside opinion (if not a little biased) then this web page might show you what a few disgruntled employees have to say.

Jaguar thanks for that information. The job I applied for is within Management. I would be one of the individuals who evaulates the calls, etc... I have no idea what the pay is and I now have to wait till the person I interviewed with gets back from his vacation.
