actors quest

    Hello, I have spent the better part of this summer playing BG2 SoA. I got it for a birthday many moons ago, and never even looked at it till now. Mostly I am way impressed with those who offer suggestions on these forums, it always works for me! So to my problem, hope someone out there can help:
    I am in chapter 6, and as per suggestions from some avid players, am finishing up undone quests. One of these quests is the Raelis Shai, actors guild quest. I have gone into the sewers beneath the Temple district. I opted to complete the imp quest for macrath(sp?)the wizard, as killing him outright was not only easy, but gave very little extras. Now the problem, he agreed to release haer d'alis, I got the portal gem off the altar...went to the end of the corridor (where I was told Haer d'alis would be) and alas, no bard. Fine, I had the gem, and assumed that would be enough to get into the portal with raelis shai. I went back to the Five Flagons inn, went to the theatre, whereupon, Raelis and her compadres "red-cicled" and tried to kill me. I figure I need to talk with her to get into the portal, but she stays red! My party's rep is 20 and am not sure if that even matters here, but figured it might be something? Any suggestions?

    When you gave the mirror back to the mage, he should've said something to the effect of releasing Haer'Dalis into your control. Mage teleports/disappears. Walk to the central room with the stairs and HD should be there waiting for you. I don't know how you got the portal gem without running into HD.

    Maybe you killed Heardelis by accident or bug? This may explain why his friend actors are all hostile to you...'REVENGE FOR OUR FALLEN SPARROW!!!' Cute!

    If you can not do anything, cheat! Summon a Heardelis via console and see if it works?
