In the thread on cleric powers, I was struck by the fact that a Stormlord of Talos was unable to cast Rainstorm or Call Lightning.
Granted, those are Druid spells, but I'd figure that they should be at least domain spells for somebody called a Stormlord of the god of storms.

I decided to take it upon myself to add them.
Do I need to do anything beyond adding two lines to LISTDOMN.2DA in NearInfinity to make Rainstorm available at level 1 and Call Lightning available at level 2?
I'm thinking of the level-dependent additional lightning bolts for call lightning, will it give the extra bolts at higher levels if cast as a domain spell without any druid levels? I don't think rainstorm improves with levels so it should be fine as it is, if a bit powerful for a first level spell, even with the drawback of being outdoors only.

Then again 2/3 to 3/4 of the battles up until the ice temple (when it starts to lose usefulness) take place outside, so it's not as serious a drawback as it was in Icewind Dale I or the Baldur's Gate games.

Along that line of thinking, I always thought a Stormlord should get "Scion of Storms" for free, as an ability. Maybe delayed to a certain level like level 7? Of course, you would have to remove one of his other abilities to balance.

I've done similar things with LISTSPLL. It was for Tremor and Stoneskin as druid spells at the time; Tremor moved to lvl 8. As long as you haven't memorized a different spell with your unit, the new addition should show up. Even if you do, chances are you'll justget 3 domain choices.
