Just check SP, everything that is available is either listed on linked here. And it's all good. Just depends on personal preference what you want to use.

I don't really like home brewed items, they tend to be too powerfull or not in the same style of the game. With the "lost" parts people have restored to the game, how do they know what was taken out, etc?

This is a real "gamers" site, and it's run to a high standard. The add-ons are well thought out and don't unbalance the games. I've never had a problem. Perhaps your previous experiences have made you too untrusting.

As to the "lost" parts, the people who run this site obviously have contacts among the pro's--read their posts--and have access to such data from the people who originally wrote it.

[IMG] None of the Torment mods were made by any of us, SP just provides the files to the community. Anyone can send content in and have it published, provided it adheres to our guidelines. As for how people know what was taken out before the game was completed - most of the stuff is still in the game files, just not accessible in the game. What isn't can generally be gathered from posts by the developers, or by asking them directly (if you're lucky enough to be able to reach them). All of Platter's stuff (which is the majority of Torment mods) is high-quality. SP links to his site for the unofficial fixpacks and you can look around and make sure for yourself.
