    When exactly does this happen? The message on the loading screen keeps taunting me and i cant get at any new items...BTW i have completed the game before, ages ago, so dont hold off the spoilers.

    When you return to Athkatla (chapter 6). You must not have gone back to Ribald when you played through the first time.

    Done that, beat spellhold, but no new items. I remember now, you have to have a certain conversation with him, dont you? He's not playing.

    Any commands i can use to get the new selection?

    As stated, there should be an option to ask him about special items in chapter 6.

    Do you have the lastest patch and either the SP or Baldudash fixpack installed?

    You shouldn't even need the fixpacks and such. IIRC, when you speak to him (after the underdark, of course) it's option 2, then 1. You pay him 50 gold to see his special wares.
