I gave the info to Aegisfield and he died when he went to talk to the tanner. I found hisbody before I went below and now I have no idea what to do with it, any ideas?

Nevermind, I just had to take him to Brega

How do you get Aegisfield to go and investigate the tanner? I've wandered around the Bright District and questioned suspects but never had that option.

My first time through the game, I just took an instant dislike to the tanner when I first spoke to him and figured "what the hell" and whacked him! Imagine my delight when it turned out he was the murderer. Nice stroke of luck there.

Strangely enough, when I went to tell Aegisfield about this and told him I'd attempted to kill the tanner for no other reason than something about struck me as wrong, he seemed quite happy with this and gave me a cushy XP bonus.

Crime solving in Amn: find someone you don't like and kill them then get a whopping great reward for it.

after speaking to Aegisfield, and passing the annoying peasants talking about the dead people, there will be a beggar named Rampah, speak to him, pay him whatever gold for what he found, (it's elephant hide armor). Talk to the harlot just outside of the Seven Dales Inn(SP?), I think her name is rose. Talk to the merchant, just left of her, he'll ID the Armor and give you samples for Rose to try. After that, talk to Aegisfield, and he'll go investigate. Then you go in and accuse the tanner, he'll run down, you'll find Aegisfields body in the second floor down.

Once again, everytime you play the game You find soemthing new. This time through I found Belm for the first time and I found Aegisfield was willing to investigate himself. I got a good reward and tons more xp for telling him to go himself too, so it's really nice!
