Aerie romance won't start.

    I'm trying to romance Aerie but it's not working, even though I left the computer on unpaused for several hours. The first love talk won't trigger and I don't quite know why.

    When the game was just SOA only, I let Quayle be killed and I could use the talk button to talk to Aerie twice, the first in the Umar Hills just after he died and the second after she got a message from Realis Shai. So I restarted.

    Now with TOB + patch installed, it's still not working. Same problem as before only I can't talk to her now.

    I got the romance to work earlier, but only with Jaheira, Minsc, Yoshimo in the party. In both games above I killed Jaheira and Minsc in the Irenicus dungeon and kicked Yoshimo out as soon as we got to Waukeen's Promenade.

    What are the req's for getting her romance started?

    Vanilla BG2, Human Chaotic Evil Male.

    Being Chaotic Evil isn't a problem since I've gotten her romance started before...it just won't start now.

    Also, off-topic but is there a complete list for scripting commands somewhere? I want to make an improved Dimension Door using scripting but I don't have that Team BG list of commands anymore and I don't know where to find it.

    when in doubt: search the romance faq here http://www.mud-master.com/faqs/BGRomanceFAQ.html

    there you can see the correct values and such, though it doesnt appear updated lately, so don't take any of the references for mods and stuff serious.

    but i suspect your problem to be quayle... or did you upset her when you first met in the cirkus tent or something?
