Aerie stutter problem

    [​IMG] I had just installed the NPC flirt pack and the Item Upgrade kit which I downloaded from SP, When I went to try them out Aerie would not move more than a couple of paces before stopping. She could not pick up any Items on the ground either. I uninstalled the mods but she still would not walk at her usual pace. This was not happening before I installed the mods, what could be wrong and how can I fix it. :confused: :confused: :confused:

    This could happen for two reasons:
    1. You installed ConcurentRomances cheat
    2. You have two movement bonus/penalty granting items equipped on her

    Solutions per reason:
    If 1., just remove that cheat or install HappyParty cheat over it which will fix erroneous scripts.
    If 2., unequip items 1 by 1 to find out which one is responsible for such Aerie's behavior.

    Do you have the official patch installed? It fixes this problem.

    Do a clean boot of your computer and do not load up Windows Explorer or any other program before starting BG. For some reason, it ghosts the RAM and that causes numerous problems.

    Had this problem once after I loaded a saved game. I hadn't installed any mods and everything was updated. I reinstalled but it still did the same thing. I had to start all over.

    Hey thanks for the ideas, I tried them all except the official patch (I like to exploit some of the game faults) but none of them worked.
    The only reason I had her in my party was for the romance. I have now reformed my party and it is now a lot more ballanced

    Do as Rastor suggested. My, my, I must admit I forgot about that one - professional deformation. I always assume people first install the patch then ask questions... :(
