Aerie to leave?&some AD&D questions...

Well it will be a long message so I better start...
I chose Aerie in love interest (though Jaheria doesn't know it yet-she was with the Harpers- ;and in three or four days I returned from Windspear and found an inn.When I wanted to rest Aerie told she wanted to sleep with me.Now there are two choices 1-sleep with her 2-love isn't just sex,please wait till you feel it inside bulls..t.Of course it seems the obvious choice is 1 but I heard(here or gamebanshee) that Aerie would leave you few days later(and the group) saying things are going fast,if you sleep with her.I really need her(only mage in the group) but a love offer from an avariel is just the kind of offer you can't decline. please help me;I don't want to be a monk
The other problem is about AD&D.I am curious, do rangers and paladins cast clerical spells acting as their actual level or their clerical level(if there is one).I mean a lvl 13 ranger and a clerical spell 3rounds/level.. Would it last for 39 rounds or 9 rounds (lvl3 cleric)..thanks for your replies...

Don't decline the love then and forget the sex. You get nothing out of it except a black faded screen, a picture of where you're sleeping and when you wake up you're supposed to be a man?

Her abilities as a mage are more worth your while than having sex with her. Sex is one time, thank you ma'am. Love adds dialog, character interaction and memories. I'd rather have Aeire talking to me and saying things I've never heard of before than having sex with her only to have her leave the group. Not worth the risk.

As for your D&D question, you cast as per your casting level, unless you're a pure mage where it uses your current character level.

Thanks Syl for your reply; but I meant just that...I don't want to lose Aerie both in romance and group for sex;but I fear she will leave a day or after is I sleep with her and I fear if I choose the second way, she would somehow feel "refused" and stay away from me..I don't want either to happen.Or should I just say "I am tired today"..And one more question about Aerie..About which level she finishes the game?She won't be able to cast lvl 7 spells I think.Shall I have one more mage a real one(edwin,though he is evil).Thanx again

 

And just to clarify about the ranger/paladin thing (don't know if Syl's reply answered the question): In the back of the manual where it has all the class/spell charts, it shows the "casting level" of the ranger or paladin, and it's not the same as their class level. When a ranger is first able to cast spells (level 8 I think?), he casts them as a 1st-level caster, not an 8th level caster. Same applies to paladins.

 

I also have a question about the love interest thing. I just started playing (just cleared out the circus) and haven't really encountered this love thang yet. But, Aerie recently commented on how attractive I looked in a certain light (I forget what prompted her). Killjoy Jaheira of course chastised her ("This is not the time or place!" type of thing). But it sure felt like a come-on, the little minx.

The only thing is: my protagonist is female! Is lesbian love blooming before my eyes?
