Aeries gotten quiet

    So I took Aerie up on her offer to "share the blankets" or something and she came back later with "things are going to fast...blah blah", but she stayed w/ my party so figured things were ok. Well some time later it occurs to me she hasnt spoken in a long time. I then read somewhere that you have to tell her lets wait or she splits. Luckily I have one old save game and I try the "nice guy" approach and she is grateful. Now its a couple of weeks later and she's not talking again.

    Does this script just take a long time to run its course?

    All the party interaction and banter I've had in my game happened in the two first game weeks. I'm now in chapter 6, day 65, and nothing since then.

    I'm in chapter 5 now and my party members have also stopped talking. It has been about 20 days since anyone said anything!

    Maybe they're all in shock from all the killing and slaughtering and whatever else you've been doing. Anyway, she quit talking to me after the roll in the hay dialog as well. Personally, I don't have a problem with that because I was sick of her whinning and complaining. Oh, if I were evil and could just have told her to shut up rom the start. Such dreams...

    Same w/ me and Jaheira...been constant flirting the entire game, now I'm in chapter 7 and not one mention of the big nasty.

    Even after I offered to give up all my equipment to the muggers in the forrest north of the Underdark entrance...not a thing. I don't know if I can wait any longer. :)

    I also had the same experience, I remembered when Aerie stopped talking with me and I think I can still remember the words..."Ah...You've finally awaken, I have been watching you sleep for a long time now, ...". That is the last time she spoke with me and I always spoke to her nicely...I noticed that that is before taking Keldorn with me, I think she'll stop talking when you have other NPCs to talk with.

    Alright... for anyone interested in the Aerie romance...

    ** SPOILERS BELOW **

    After you've been offered to "roll in the hay" with Aerie, that's the end of the romance script. You either decline, and she declares her love for you (the end), or you take her up on the offer, she gets nervous, and you can beg her to stay in the party, but the romance has failed (again, the end).

    The romance with Jaheira, on the other hand, is a bit foggy... I have never managed to finish that one, but am trying in my latest game, to see if I can take it all the way through before beating the game.
