[IMG] I recently got through BGIISOA the first time with Aerie (romance)Minsc Nalia Hear-Dalis Imoen and Caelis(Cavalier, me)
    my questions are:
    1. how does the story continue, does the Bhaalchild story continue, and where would you start if you want to continue where SOA ended
    2. can you retain your party in the next Ch. of the saga?
    3. if I'd start over with a completely new party, is there really a big difference if you choose to for example, play an evil thief, or a druidwhat would you recommend for Class, Alignment, Gender and Party-what would add most?

    1. ??

    2. If you have already installed ToB, you can take your party with you. If you haven't, you can summon them, but they don't
have the items you gave them in SoA.

    3. Seeing your party, you could use a tank maybe. Try Keldorn or Valygar.
There are so many opportunities in this game, that it almost doesn't matter to mention them.
I'm currently playing with a Barbarian, a Cavalier, an Inquisitor, a Mage/Thief, a Cleric/Mage and an Archer. And it's GOOD fun!

The story continues in Throne of Bhaal, the expansion pack to Shadows of Amn. You would start at the final save, if that's what you meant. Or start a new party in Throne of Bhaal (which was what I did.)

I think you need to post this on the ToB forum, or read some on there

Or even better, actually get the game and find out for yourself

[IMG] So, (& I am trying to word this carefully so that I won't be posting in the wrong forum) at what point in SoA would it be a good time to download and prepare for ToB? In BGI it seemed right to add ToSC before the final battle w/ Saverok.

[IMG] Download? You wouldn't be pirating the game would you?
Assuming you are not, the best time to install TOB is before you reach the experience cap. Or better yet, at the start.

DO NOT install ToB if you're going to play SoA part without Wild Mage.
And do not install it before you're about to place your foot in the Hell if you have Edwin in your party. If Edwin is not in your party and you don't plan to use him in ToB, wait till you deal the Black Dragon, then install ToB.

And why? Because of new bugs you get in SoA part with ToB installed that are not present without ToB.
