First, Oria bugs and I cant kill her but I think I found a work around.

Now, I turned the mirror and shot the lightning bolt north to unlock the door to caged fury. The door is still locked.

    I hate the ice temple.

Edit: Ok I went Lysan with the painting but I still can't open the door from the inside. And that trap is nasty.

    What gives?

The part with the shrine and the lightening bolt is funny. I've found I've had to use the portrait to get to the room with the shadow, then open the door to the hallway.

The hallway door is what blocks the lightening bold. Once the hallway door is open, orient the mirrors then shoot the lightening bolt.

I've never really had any problems with Oria myself. I let her blow herself up then rush to the game room to turn ethereal. Asking Nickodemus for help while she's ghostly might help. He explicitly tells you to go to the game room to kill her.

You have to use the painting to get into the room then have someone step into the shadow (careful it hurts) to open the door. Have another char run to the lightning switch and trigger it. When the bolt hits the the inside door it will open. When someone goes inside they will be trapped because the door slams shut. The alter will come to life. When you confront him with his real name he will turn into a whirlwind and if you can avoid him long enough he will blow himself out. Then have a person trigger the lightning switch again to let the char out of the room. Be careful, you will be attacked as you try to go back into the hallway.

Klorox, I have to say I don't know. I've never tried to solo this game. I will have to keep an eye on this thread to await an answer as well.

Solo is quite easy. You go to the painting, teleport in the room you touch (embrace) the shadow, you take damage unless you're evil, you open the door to the hall, you go to the lightning machine, the bolt opens the door to the altar, the Caged Fury is next. If you are fast enough you can get out before the whirlwind blocks the door. After a while the door to the hall is going to be opened automatically. That's it.:)
