[IMG] Well, after finally playing the game for the first time in about 2 weeks, I managed to finish off Gaxx, the twisted rune, and Bhodi. Here's my question. All signs seem to point to something about curing vampirism judging from the tomes and heart obtianed from Bhodi's lower lair. So far I visited the temple of Ogma and the Shadow Thieves, and neither had much to say(ungratefull shadow thieves b@stard$). Anyway, is this something I am missing at the moment, or will it work itself out later as the game progresses. I don't really want to move on to the next chapter until I'm sure. If I'm missing something imediate, I'd like to know. If it will work itself out later in the game automatically, then please, no spoilers. I really don't want any suprises revealed.

There might be something in the old temple of Amuanator...you know, where there was that floor puzzle with all the letters that you had to step on...? Maybe there's something there that's important....and make sure you've got the body of whoever you had to kill because of their vampirism and also Bohdi's heart with you when you go...

Ah, but so far I haven't had to kill anyone for vampirism, except for the vamps themselves. I've read where a party member turns into a vampire, but so far noone has. So I'm really not sure what to do. Maybe I'll just ignore it until something happens, but then, I really don't want to be in the Elven Temple when it does. Anyway, what I'm getting at is is this only important if some party member turns into a vamp right away or will it happen in a couple of days?

I'm not sure if things are different if you don't have a romance going on at the time, but if you have fought Bohdi in her lair and gotten her heart from that encounter, then one of your party members should have been teleported away while you were on the surface in the graveyard (if you have a romance going, it'll be the one you're puttin' the moves on) and when you confront Bohdi that party member will now be a vampire, and you'll be forced to kill them at that time. If that didn't happen, then I'm guessing that either (a) you're doing a solo adventure (b) you don't have any kind of romance going and/or don't have Imoen in your party either (I think they'll grab her if no romance is present-but I don't know that for sure) and maybe then they won't make anyone a vampire, or (c) you got the heart through Shadow Keeper, in which case you are a BAD DOGGIE WEREWOLF!!

They didn't grab Imoen for me, so I don't think Imoen has something to do with it. In my case nobody became vampire. But I still got the heart though...

I believe the romance has to have progressed to a certain point. I was romancing Jaheira, hadn't gotten real far, and she was not taken...

Hmm, perhaps I and Ariee's romance has broken down because I slept with that drow princess in the underdark(but honey, I tell you, I had to do it :)). Anyway, no one was teleported away from my party. Kinda sucks I missed out on that plotline. Well, at least I figured out what that statue of the sun god was waiting for in the Temple Ruins.
