My g/f and I went to a BBQ at my sister's neighbor’s house. Once the sun went down, we all watched the local firework show that the city puts on every year. Then I shot off my not-so-legal fireworks, and once again, showed my sister's other neighbors how to blow stuff up. All mortars shot in to the sky were done in the name of independence! :hippy:

Well, what did you all do? :rolling:

Well I am not American, but I went to a US restaurant and listened to some US country music. It was pretty good fun, but no fireworks, they are being reserved for the 12th July, which is an independance day of sorts.

We did a bunch of house- and yard- work and played with the kids before going to a big fireworks show. Good thing I bathed the boys and dressed them in their jammies, since we didn't get home until midnight. Marcus was just fascinated by the fireworks, and not frightened by the flashes and bangs at all.

I took my wife and kid to a bbq and introduced my single landlady to a nice man. Now I just hope she does not marry him and force us to move out!
