[IMG] Okay, i know there have been posts asking where scar has "dissapeared" to but they all seem to be encountered after talking to scar for the first time and completing the first task. Also, i know i don't need to talk to him at all, ever.

However, i haven't seen him at all yet. I went straight to the flaming fist hq to speak to him but he wasnt there. The others even told me he would be down the hall or outside, but nope.

This hasn't happened before. Could this possibly be a DSoTSC thing coz he was there when i played before without it.

you might be right. I was a F/T so i spent practically the whole time in stealth so i guess i would have walked right past him.

Thats cool. I was just wondering... were you playing solo? I mean, if you weren't i'd have thought that Scar would have spoken to one of your other team mates?

yep indeedy doo. I certainly was.

I actually just completed it on friday. I took out sarevok in about 4 hits. It wasn't exactly what you could call a challenge. Mind you, i did have AC-14, str18/59, dext18, strength potion for str22, backstab x4, 128health, haste and the Twinkle scimitar. (and no, i wasn't using any cheats) :D

I might start again without the theif ability and just use either a pure fighter or a ranger. I wouldn't want to do a pure mage class solo. You just don't get enough magic ability to be able to take on a horde single handedly (or with the monsters from a summon monster spell).

Plus you have to pretty much rest most of the time at 1st level to get that single (or two if you are a specialised class) spell/s needed to do some damage ...

You may as well enlist xzar and use him as diseased gibberling fodder...
