[IMG] I spent alot of time here at Boards o Magick some months ago and just wanted to take a look and see if some the old members still are here ?

I thought i would start a new game with BG 2 and wonder if someone has any original suggestions for a character.. Kensai/Mages are not welcome. :)

If you want to make it a hard-ish battle then why not try a druid? Though since druids have a terrible exp cap, etc in BGII, I would advise wating 'til ToB comes out for it's druid revamping.

Anyway, back to the topic. What about a cleric, dueled to a bard (lol!). That would be interesting, wouldn't it.

You could call him: Tallin Harpcord!

Anyway, that's a unique one for you, since theres lots of bard-only items out there.

Or a sorceror dueled to a ranger? He has been sent out to clense the world of all animal-hating creatures, while studdying the arcane arts.

He could be called: Jayrid Spellbound!

Well that's just a few suggestions, the choice is yours alone,

    Herr'Don

[IMG] I've been here since October last year! :)

How about you try a dc Avenger(12)/Fighter.
You have to either import the druid from BG/TOtSC (no Tomes necessary though!)or "fix" the strength stats in Shadowkeeper, because you need 17 strength to dual class to fighter and Avengers lose 2 points of strength in creation.

It is an incredibly powerful combination!

[IMG] I´d suggest two great shorties: halfling cavalier (unfortunately you´ll have to knight him yourself) or a mc halfling fighter-thief if you prefer a more conventional char. I played both and had lot´s of fun with them.

Sir Phapylon, about finding longer term posters from this board - you might want to check out the 'Whatnots' forums as they tend to migrate there.

I would definetly say go with a shapeshifter druid.
They are very powerful even when going solo.
